About ARM '26
ACM Kolkata Chapter (in its 11th year since inception) is organizing this Annual Regional Meet (ARM) to bring together all ACM India East members, whether student or professional, to connect in a common platform to share ideas and plan engagements in coming days. This event comprises eminent speakers and panelists, presentation from student chapters from India East & N-E region, brainstorming for next events and initiatives. This is a free event for ACM members of this region - but seats are limited and follows a nomination protocol. The 1st ARM was held on 2023 : Link. The 2nd ARM was held on 2024 : Link.
ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery is the world's largest educational and scientific society, uniting computing educators, researchers and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources and address the field's challenges. ACM awards the Turing Award (aka Noble Prize in Computing). ACM supports the professional growth of its members by providing opportunities for life-long learning, career development, and professional networking. ACM is recording a healthy growth in India, and ACM India was launched in 2010 to increase the focus on the country. ACM India has been organizing annual flagship events to discuss trends in science and technology, and to celebrate ACM's spirit and India's accomplishments in computing. These events are attended by students, researchers and IT professionals.
